Who Wrike is best for
Mid-sized and larger organisations, including marketing, professional services and PMO teams, running complex projects with many stakeholders. Choose it over Asana or monday.com when you need strong resource planning, budgeting and two-way integrations at enterprise level.
Key features
- Board, table and interactive Gantt chart views
- Shareable dashboards and reporting
- Templatised workspaces and request forms
- AI features across paid plans
- Resource and capacity planning and budgeting on Pinnacle
- Wrike Integrate and two-way Wrike Sync on Apex
Why it’s worth it
It handles the structure that complex, multi-team projects need, such as capacity planning and budgeting, in one system rather than spread across spreadsheets.
Things to consider
- The Team plan is limited to 15 users and the Business plan to 200 users, and Business and higher plans are billed annually only.
- Advanced resource planning, budgeting and BI reporting are only in the sales-priced Pinnacle and Apex tiers.
- It is more complex than simpler tools, so expect a longer set-up and training period.
For Australian businesses
Wrike prices in US dollars. Accounts created outside Europe are hosted in its US data centre in Santa Clara, California, with an EU option in Paris; no Australian hosting option is listed.

FAQ
Wrike: common questions
How much does Wrike cost?
Wrike has a free plan. The Team plan is US$10 per user per month and Business is US$25 per user per month, billed annually, with Pinnacle and Apex priced by quote.
Is Wrike good for small businesses?
It can be, through the Team plan for up to 15 users, but its strengths are in complex, multi-team projects. Very small teams with simple needs may find Trello or Asana easier.
Does Wrike host data in Australia?
Wrike's pricing page states that non-European accounts are hosted in the US, with a European data centre in Paris available. It does not list an Australian hosting option.
