Audits: find the weak link in your sales and marketing engine
Before you spend another dollar on ads, tools or hires, find out where your business is really leaking. I look at the whole chain, one department at a time, read-only, and you keep everything I find.
At a glance
A Promptwise Audit is a deep, read-only review of a business’s whole sales and marketing engine, one department at a time: marketing, sales, product, operations, post-sale, and finance and admin. Adam Agresta works through structured questions with the team, maps every customer journey and its drop-offs, and checks how Google and AI assistants see the business. It usually costs A$2,500 ex GST and is free for the first 10 businesses that book before 20 November 2026.

One free audit per business. Places are confirmed in the order chats are booked. When you book, type “Audit” in the “What would you most like help with?” box so your place is held.

One weak link breaks the whole chain
Rather than starting with marketing or sales on their own, I look at every step a customer takes, one department at a time, and how each one hands over to the next.
01
Marketing
Who you’re reaching, where they spend their time, and whether you show up when they search, including in AI assistants like ChatGPT.
02
Sales
How a new customer goes from first enquiry to signed, how quickly, and where deals stall or go quiet.
03
Product
How easy your product, app or offer is to find, buy or sign up to, and where people give up along the way.
04
Operations
What happens after someone says yes: onboarding, delivery and the first real result they get.
05
Post-sale
How you keep customers coming back, and turn them into reviews, referrals and repeat work.
06
Finance & admin
Margins, cash flow, invoicing and the manual admin that quietly eats the team’s week.
Great marketing into a confusing sign-up wastes the spend. A fast sign-up followed by a slow first delivery loses the customer. A happy client nobody asks for a review stays a secret.
That’s why I look at every step, not just the one you think is broken.
How it works
Questions first. Answers after.
A few hours of your time, split over a couple of sessions. I do the digging in between.
- 01
Questions first
We work through a structured set of questions together, department by department, over two or three short sessions.
- 02
A read-only look
I look at your website, product or app, CRM, ads and tracking, read-only or by screen share. I never change anything.
- 03
Map the journeys
I map the path your customers take, and your suppliers or workers too if you run a two-sided business, and mark every drop-off.
- 04
See you from outside
I check how Google and AI assistants such as ChatGPT see you, the way a real buyer would search.
Every customer takes a path
I map it step by step. For each step: how many people reach it, how long it takes, and where they drop out.
- Finds you
- Enquires
- Buys or signs up
- Gets started
- Gets a result
- Pays
- Comes back and refers
Two-sided business, like a marketplace or labour hire? I map both journeys, because both sides have to work for either to grow.
What I measure
Rough numbers are fine. A gap in the data is a finding too.
| Measure | What it tells us |
|---|---|
| Cost to win | What it costs to win one new customer |
| Time to win | First contact to first purchase or booking |
| Conversion | Enquiry to customer, and sign-up to active |
| Speed | How fast each request is handled and delivered |
| Value | Revenue and margin per customer |
| Retention | Customers who buy or book again |
| Advocacy | Reviews, ratings and referrals |

Why I audit this way
An audit is only useful if it finds the real problem. These principles are how I make sure it does.
Questions before answers
Most advice starts with a fix. I start by understanding how your business actually runs, so the recommendations fit you, not a template.
The whole chain, not one department
A weak link anywhere affects everything else. Fixing marketing on its own won’t help if sign-up is confusing or the first delivery is slow.
Sales and marketing as one engine
Marketing and sales only work when they work together. I look at the hand-over between them as closely as each one on its own.
Outside in, then inside out
I look at you the way buyers and AI assistants do first, then compare it with what’s really happening inside.
Read-only, always
I only look. I don’t change settings, send messages or touch your data, and anything you share stays confidential.
Yours to keep
The findings and the plan are yours, whether or not we work together afterwards. No obligation and no hard sell.
After the audit
If you’d like help putting the plan into action, we can talk about an hourly or monthly arrangement. No pressure either way.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is a Promptwise Audit?
A deep, read-only review of your whole sales and marketing engine. Adam Agresta looks at marketing, sales, product, operations, post-sale, and finance and admin, one department at a time, to find the weak links holding back growth.
How much does an audit cost?
An audit usually costs A$2,500 ex GST. As a launch offer, it is free for the first 10 businesses that book before 20 November 2026, with one free audit per business.
Why audit the whole business instead of just marketing or sales?
Because a weak link anywhere affects everything else. Great marketing is wasted on a confusing sign-up, and a new customer is lost if the first delivery is slow, so every step and every hand-over is checked.
How much of my time does it take?
About 2 to 3 hours, split over a couple of sessions. Adam does the rest of the digging in between, using read-only access or a screen share.
Will you change anything in our systems?
No. The audit is read-only. Adam looks at your website, product, CRM, ads and tracking but never changes settings, sends messages or touches your data, and anything you share stays confidential.
What do I get at the end?
The findings written up in plain English, the weak links ranked by their impact on revenue, and a scoping plan for phase one. They are yours to keep whether or not you work with Promptwise afterwards.
What happens after the audit?
If you would like help putting the plan into action, you can talk about an hourly or monthly arrangement, such as a Sprint, fractional leadership or a custom build. There is no obligation.
